Crazy days – Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement explains how the Crazy Days online store complies with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, what shortcomings there are in its accessibility, and how you can provide us with feedback on accessibility issues.
This service is provided by Lindex Group Plc. We want as many users as possible to be able to use our digital services. We take accessibility into account in the development of our digital services.
How accessible is the service?
This service partially meets the accessibility criteria required by law at levels A and AA (WCAG 2.1 and 2.2). There are some accessibility shortcomings that are described in more detail below.

Monitoring of accessibility
The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom) monitors the implementation of accessibility requirements. If you are not satisfied with the response you receive, or if you do not receive a response at all within two weeks, you can provide feedback to Traficom. Traficom’s website “Submit a complaint on web accessibility or request clarification” provides detailed information on how to file a complaint and how the matter will be handled.

Content or functions that are not yet accessible
Structure
- All pages do not have a unique page title. (WCAG 2.4.2)
- The screen reader and keyboard focus does not move logically on all pages, but may sometimes be in the middle of the content of the loaded view. (WCAG 1.3.2 and 2.4.3)
Adaptability
- Increasing font and word spacing causes some content to overlap. (WCAG 1.4.12)
Contrast
- Some texts in the online service have insufficient contrast with their background. (WCAG 1.4.3)
- The borders of the search field are poorly distinguishable. (WCAG 1.4.11)
Cookies
- The keyboard focus can escape from the cookie modal to the page underneath. (WCAG 2.4.3)
- The cookie modal has shortcomings in heading markup and the implementation of accordion buttons. (WCAG 1.3.1 and 4.1.2)
Navigation
- Screen readers do not convey how many items are in the shopping cart. (WCAG 1.3.1)
Navigation on mobile devices
- Screen readers do not convey whether the navigation menu is open or closed, or what its role is. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- The mobile menu cannot be opened using a keyboard, and the submenu items are not focusable (WCAG 2.1.1)
Footer
- The newsletter subscription form field in the footer lacks a visible and accessible name. Error messages are not programmatically associated with the field, so users of assistive technologies may not notice them. The errors also lack sufficient correction suggestions. (WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.2, 3.3.3, and 4.1.2)
- The footer contains links to external pages, indicated by an arrow icon, but the icon has no alternative text. (WCAG 1.1.1)
Search function
- Screen readers do not receive feedback on whether a search succeeded or failed. (WCAG 4.1.3)
- Screen reader and keyboard users cannot browse the suggested search results listed under the search field. (WCAG 2.1.1)
Images and image links
- Some image links on the site lack a descriptive accessible name. (WCAG 2.4.4)
- Non-informative icons, such as arrows, lack alt-text and are not hidden from screen readers. (WCAG 1.1.1)
Headings and text content
- Not all visible headings are semantically marked as headings. In addition, some links and texts are incorrectly marked with heading tags. (WCAG 1.3.1)
Interactive user interface elements
- Some buttons and links with icons or images have an English accessible name, even when the page is language is not set to English (WCAG 2.4.6)
- Some links on the site lack a functional role. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- If the reservation time for a product in the cart is expiring, users are informed with a pop-up window, but the keyboard focus is not moved to it. (WCAG 1.3.2 and 2.4.3)
- The website’s filtering elements have multiple accessibility issues: some have incorrect or missing accessible names and roles, and screen readers may access the content of closed filter menus. (WCAG 1.3.1, 4.1.2)
- The site has accordion buttons in the checkout. Screen readers cannot determine their role or whether they are open or closed. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- Product pages have a “Read more” button that scrolls the view to product details, but the focus remains on the “Read more” button. (WCAG 2.4.3)
Forms
- Form errors are not always provided with sufficient correction suggestions. The type of some fields is not programmatically defined, preventing autofill usage. (WCAG 1.3.5, and 3.3.3)
- The language selection field is unclear and difficult to use with a screen reader. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- Delivery method, pickup point, and payment method options can be selected with a screen reader, but the state always stays as not selected. Some selections have not been programmatically grouped. (WCAG 1.3.1 and 4.1.2)
